The Vipro Mirage MkII is a very advanced, three-quarter automatic screen printing machine that can be set up quickly, with horizontal screen lift and an integrated take-off system, which is built extremely complete. The Vipro Mirage characterises itself, just like all other Viprotech printing machines, by the compact way it is built and by its user-friendliness. The machine is completely controlled by a computer and leaves nothing extra to wish for, because most of the wanted options are already built in. The very modern control panel is provided with a touch screen on which all functions are clearly recognisable and orderly categorised. The speed and the operation comfort in setting and adjusting the machine can be entitled therefor as very unique.

The very complete Vipro Mirage MkII is standard equipped as follows:

  • Completely controlled by computer by means of advanced PLC combined with user-friendly touch screen

  • Horizontal lifting of the upper frame

  • Active take-off system of which, during the outward movement of the printing table, the grippers deliver the material directly on the inlet belt of the dryer

  • Micro-registration adjustment of the screen

  • Adjustable pneumatic squeegee pressure by means of self correcting pressure setting

  • Pneumatic squeegee turn-over

  • Pneumatic screen locking system

  • Independently adjustable speed of squeegee and floodcoater 0.1 - 1.0 m/sec

  • The position of the squeegee carriage is determined by means of encoders, without the use of limit switches. With this technique the squeegee stroke is set by moving the squeegee carriage to the beginning and the end of the printing image

  • Sample function to get printed material returned for a check by the printer

  • Ink-return function to collect the ink, which has massed outside the squeegee stroke, and bring it within the printing area. This prevents the drying and the excessive use of ink

  • Fully programmable vacuum functions: pre-vacuum, vacuum, permanent vacuum and blow back by means of a silent but powerful vacuum motor

  • Choice of squeegee-stop: ‘print - flood’ to increase the production speed and to avoid drying of the ink in the screen; or ‘flood - print’ to avoid leaking of the ink when printing for example a negative printing image

  • Choice of printing 1 to 10 times on the same material

  • Adjustable dwell-time at the end of the squeegee stroke to ensure good peel-off when using inks with high viscosity and in case of a too low tension of the mesh

  • Lift-off can be switched on or off (automatic screen lift quasi-synchronic with squeegee stroke)

  • Extensive counter function which warns the printer when reaching the total printed amount

  • Extra high lift of the upper frame so the printer has easy access and freedom of movement to carry out control or cleaning proceedings without any trouble

  • The digitally adjustable off-contact height is readable from the touch screen

  • Operation manually as well as automatically with adjustable feeding time

  • Possibility to use the machine semiautomatic by switching off the gripper system. This way enables printing on material which is thicker than the thickness mentioned in the take-off specifications

  • The printing table and the hereto connected gripper system are adjustable in speed

  • Possibility to open the grippers before the end of the gripper movement. Very useful when printing heavier materials

  • The desired lay stops can be activated easily, just by touching the touch screen. Besides the front lay stops one can choose for left- or right-hand side lay stops

  • Self-adjustable grippers for the handling of material with a maximum thickness of 4 mm

  • Optical take-off security blocks the gripper return movement in case of material being taken out wrongly

  • The screen slides in and out from the left or right side and may extend during printing: an advantage when combining several printing images in one screen

  • Before each print stroke all machine functions will be checked rapidly. A possible disturbance will be reported and in many cases the control will take the appropriate action

  • The solid way of construction, application of maintenance-free tooth belts for printing table and squeegee movement plus linear bearing system of squeegee carriage and gripper system, contribute to a reduction of the sound level

  • Constructed by using high-quality components of leading suppliers, which are available world-wide
